How We Fundraise — And How You Can Get Involved
At Clydesdale Football Academy, football is about more than goals and trophies — it’s about giving local children, young people, and adults a place to belong, learn, and grow. Like many grassroots clubs, we rely on the dedication of our community, local sponsors, and volunteers to keep our teams on the pitch and our ambitions alive.
Monthly player subscriptions cover the basics — pitch hire, training costs, and referees — but the extras that really make our club special? Those come from fundraising. New kits, top-quality equipment, extra coaching courses, and exciting opportunities for our players are only possible thanks to the incredible effort of our Fundraising Committee and the support of local businesses and families.
Our Fundraising Committee works hard all year round, organising fun events, forging local partnerships, and finding creative ways to bring in the extra support we need. But we’re always looking for more helping hands and fresh ideas!
